Stop unwanted mail

Although the amount of unsolicited offers for credit – credit cards, loans, mortgage refinancing – that you receive in the mail may have decreased lately, there are ways to decrease the amount of this type of mail even further.

There are two quick, easy and secure ways to submit a request to stop receiving pre-screened offers of credit in the mail:

• Call 1-888-OPT-OUT
• Visit OptOutPreScreen.com

Everyone has the right to “opt out” for either 5 years or permanently. If you choose to opt out permanently, you must submit a signed “Permanent Opt-Out Election” form and mail it in.

With the five year option, you can complete your request completely online and you will not be required to mail any paperwork.
