Go green and save green: Some companies offer discounts when you set up automatic account payments for premiums. At this time, only a few insurance companies offer paperless billing discounts (up to 5%), and the percentage depends on your policy and where you live.

If these discounts are not offered by your company, ask if they will waive installment fees. Installment fees are charged for quarterly or monthly payment plans, but some companies waive the fee (sometimes up to $5) if you set up an automatic bank payment.
