What is a subdomain?

Subdomains explained

A subdomain is a website that is only a part, or subsection, of a larger website. For example, a sub-domain of the site www.e-wisdom.com might be blog.e-wisdom.com, where the sub-domain is the blog section.

A sub-domain can usually be easily created on a website, as most web hosting companies have options for creating them from the control panel of the site. You may also be abl create them manually if you have the technical expertise and the hosting company supports that fuctionality.
