Is linux more difficult to operate than Windows?

Linux vs. Windows

Linux-based web hosting is both easier and harder to operate than Windows-based hosting. It is easier because Linux comes with all of the standard software packages needed to host a website, whereas hosting under Windows requires Microsoft Server, along with other packages that aren’t included, and can often be very expensive.

In contrast, Windows hosting is simple and straightforward to set up and configure, while Linux tends to be difficult and very deatiled to set up, and it is easy to make a mistake that will require a reinstallation, or worse, allow unauthorized access to the computer via a security breach. In short, Linux doesn’t require any special applications, but it can require special talent.
