What is the best credit card deal for me?

Finding the best credit card deals

When it comes to credit cards, how do you know which offer is the best deal? Before you can answer that, you need to consider your current credit situation.

If you tend to use your credit card often and pay the entire balance in full each month, then a card that offers rewards may be ideal. You can find credit cards that offer cash back, travel rewards, gas rebates and other various rewards.

If you carry a balance from month to month, you may benefit from owning a credit card that has a low fixed interest rate. Some credit card offer a fixed interest rate on purchases, while others offer a fixed rate on balance transfers only. Be sure to read the terms and conditions before applying for a specific card.

Other things to consider are the grace period, annual fees, cash advance fees, and over the limit fees. Knowing what you need credit for and how you manage it will help you determine which credit card deal is the best for you.
