Some people still choose to use dial-up Internet access
With high-speed broadband Internet access options, such as cable Internet and DSL (Digital Subscriber Line), becoming more commonplace in neighborhoods across the country, some people are still willingly choosing to use slower dial-up connections instead of switching to these higher-speed options.
A recent article detailed this finding and discussed the reasons why some Internet users are opting to stay with dial-up connections. For some, price is the determining factor. Some others, however, state that nothing could make them switch from dial-up.
