How to stop receiving offers for new credit cards through the mail

In addition, the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) has a consumer assistance resource set up where you can you can request the removal of your name and address from prospect mailing lists.

For more detailed information about this topic, see our tip on how to stop unsolicited credit card offers. That tip is part of our new credit card tips and advice area, where you can find questions and answers about various credit card topics.
